When will the blogging room be open and how do I get there?
The merchant blogger room will be opening on September 15 for you to put out your blogger boxes. Landmark will be available then.
When will the blogger list be released?
Our Official Blogger List will be posted on September 14 on the website.
Do I have to participate?
No, participation in the Out Shop Cancer’s blogger program is optional. You do not have to give review copies to our Official Bloggers. You can use your own blogger team if you like in addition to or instead of our Official Out Shop Cancer Bloggers. A pingback to the Out Shop blog would be appreciated and totally awesome!
How do I give a review copy to the official bloggers?
We will have a special blogger room set up starting September 15. Merchants who wish to participate simply purchase one of the boxes on the wall (L$0), drop their boxed review item in the contents, and add a texture to the front of the box (so bloggers can see what is inside). Do not take the box or move it from the wall. Please leave it where it is or it will not work. Do not set it for sale. Do not remove any scripts from the box. Only your one or two main Out Shop Cancer items are to be placed in the blogger boxes.
Who can get the review item from the blogger room?
Only the Official Out Shop Cancer Bloggers. The box will have a whitelist of bloggers who can get the content when clicking it. No one else can get a copy.
Does each item need it's own box?
We do recommend buying an empty box for each item review copy so each may have its own texture on the box for bloggers to see.
I am a complete noob at this! What should I put in the Blogger box?
It is recommended you put the required (1) 100% donation item in your review box. Include a landmark to your store and any information notecard you want to pass on to the blogger.
Do I have to give my item to all of the Official Bloggers?
You do not have to give the actual review copy to all the Official Out Shop Cancer Bloggers if you feel that is too large a group. Simply make a box containing your vendor ads for your 100% donation items and include a notecard letting bloggers know to contact you if they wish to blog about your items. Place that box in the blogger room box as described above. Another option you have is simply to go through the Official Out Shop Cancer Blogger list, handpick, and contact them yourself. This does not guarantee they will say yes and blog about your item.
Do you guarantee my item will be blogged about?
We wish we could make a guarantee that your item will be blogged, but honestly, we cannot. Bloggers have different items they blog about and different preferences for styles, colors, and different tastes. We try to have a variety of bloggers to cover as wide a range of areas as we can.
